William H Wildgoose BVMS CertFHP MRCVS
William Wildgoose graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School in 1977 and has been in small animal practice in London since then. He has always had a special interest in exotic pets and ornamental fish in particular. In 1997, he passed the examinations for the RCVS Certificate in Fish Health and Production. He was editor of the Fish Veterinary Journal for three years before contributing and editing the second edition of the BSAVA Manual of Ornamental Fish (2001). He is married to Julia, a former head nurse and has two children and a Burmese cross-breed cat called Leo. More about our fish health services and exotic pet work.
Brian Stenson MVB MRCVS
Brian Stenson qualified in Dublin in 1979. He has worked with both small and large animals. He originally joined the practice in 1980, returning to Dublin to join a partnership for a six year period in 1987. During that time he was the veterinary surgeon for Dublin Zoo and was also consultant to a large parrot breeding aviary. He has a special interest in avian medicine. Brian is involved in voluntary work in South East Asia. He has helped out at the SOI Dog Foundation in Thailand which treats street dogs, and the Animal Kingdom Foundation in the Philippines which rescues dogs from illegal slaughterhouses. He has also served on the executive committee of Medical & Scientific Aid for Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and has travelled there to assess projects.
Audra Turner BVSc MRCVS
Ms Turner qualified in Zimbabwe in 1997 and became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1998. She has since been working in private small animal practice. She worked as a locum with us in 1999 and then took a break to further her studies in pathology at Wake Forest University, North Carolina and to work in Australia 2001 - 2004. On returning to London, she joined our practice in a consultancy capacity. Her special interests are feline medicine and pathology: she has completed a feline medicine course by the European School of Veterinary Post-Graduate Studies and is currently studying for a feline medicine qualification. She also has a personal interest in the Bally Vaughan Animal Sanctuary in Zimbabwe. She owns a slightly overweight (but handsome) cat called Tom, which she rehomed from a local rescue and neutering clinic.
Michelle Connolly MVB MRCVS
Michelle graduated from UCD, Dublin in 2001. After graduating she worked in predominantly large animal practice in the west of Ireland and also as a Veterinary Inspector at two local meat processing plants. Since 2004, she has been working with companion animals in practices in Kent and London. Taking time out from private practice in 2007, she took on voluntary work in West Africa with the Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust and the Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Trust, where she worked as an administrator and veterinary surgeon for both charities. Later, she spent 18months in Canada before returning to the UK and then joined our practice in December 2010. Her main professional interests are in canine medicine and animal charities. She now owns two kittens: one called TJ who was hand-reared after he was found abandoned by a Local Authority dog warden; and Tiny Tim, another orphan who was rehomed.
Cerdic Grimbly BVSc MRCVS
Cerdic graduated from Bristol Veterinary School in 1990. He then spent two years in mixed practice in Newport, South Wales and a further year working as a locum in various small animal practices before leaving the profession to pursue other interests. Cerdic returned to veterinary work in 2006 and has since worked part-time for several practices in north and east London. He joined the Midland Veterinary Surgery in 2009 and mainly works on Saturdays but also provides holiday cover throughout the year for other vets in the practice. His special interests are feline internal medicine and dentistry. Cerdic is a keen cyclist and cycles 5miles each way to the practice in all weathers. He owns a mischievous Persian cat called Gretchen.
