William H. Wildgoose BVMS CertFHP MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

William Wildgoose graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School in 1977 and has been in small animal practice in London since then. He has always had a special interest in exotic pets and ornamental fish in particular. In 1997, he passed the examinations for the RCVS Certificate in Fish Health and Production.

He was editor of the Fish Veterinary Journal for three years before contributing to and editing the second edition of the BSAVA Manual of Ornamental Fish (2001). You can read more about his work here.

He is married to Julia, a former head nurse and practice book-keeper. They have two children and a Burmese cross-breed cat called Leo. His daughter, Amy, graduated from Bristol Vet School in 2019. Read more about our fish health services. He retired from general practice in May 2018 but has continued to see fish cases and continue with consultancy work.
