Brian Stenson qualified in Dublin in 1979. He has worked with both small and large animals. He originally joined the practice in 1980, returning to Dublin to join a partnership for a six year period in 1987. During that time he was the veterinary surgeon for Dublin Zoo and was also consultant to a large parrot breeding aviary. He has a special interest in avian medicine. Brian was involved in voluntary work in South East Asia. He has helped out at the SOI Dog Foundation in Thailand which treats street dogs, and the Animal Kingdom Foundation in the Philippines which rescues dogs from illegal slaughterhouses. He has also served on the executive committee of Medical & Scientific Aid for Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and has traveled there to assess projects. In April 2018 he became the Clinical Director.
