About the Practice
The Midland Veterinary Surgery was established in 2001 by Brian Stenson and William Wildgoose, both of whom had worked for over 20 years in the practice, which was formerly owned by Ronald Gardner. Hence, our practice has served pets in Leyton and the surrounding areas since 1974.
We provide services for companion pets, such as cats, dogs, rabbits and other small furries. On occasion this may include ornamental fish, as these are of particular interest to a former vet of the practice who will often see them here at Midlands.
The building is a former drinking house that was converted into a veterinary surgery in the 1970s and has recently been extensively renovated. We have been a Veterinary Nurse Training Practice for many years and our Registered Veterinary Nurses are qualified to help your pet with good advice during our nurse clinics.
In 2008, the practice became an RCVS accredited small animal practice. This is a voluntary quality assurance scheme, that requires a rigorous inspection (carried out every four years) by an experienced veterinary surgeon appointed by the RCVS.
On 26 April 2018, the practice joined Independent Vetcare Ltd.
