Emma grew up in South London and moved to study veterinary medicine in Edinburgh, graduating in 2007. She did an additional internship training at the Animal Health Trust before moving on to work in several small animal practices in and around London and also taught anatomy at the Royal Vet College.
Emma locumed at Midlands for several years before joining as a permanent member of the team in January 2019. She is excited to be able to work in her local community, she lives just up the road in Walthamstow, and get to build up relationships with local owners and their pets. Her passions are medical cases and teaching and getting involved in the local community. She is always happy to give talks at local schools or community groups. She has also started to take on some of the exotic work that Mr Stenson and Mr Wildgoose did and is happy to chat to owners on the phone to see if she can help.
Outside of work Emma lives with her husband James, two young sons and her rescue cats Scout and Alfie. She enjoys live music, theatre and all the fun of London life and then escaping to camp in the country.
