Larissa Butschek

Larissa graduated in Munich (Germany) in 2012 and after doing a PhD in oncology she moved to the UK to start her career as a veterinary surgeon. Since then she has worked in several small animal practices around London and joined the Midlands team in January 2022. Living in Waltham Forest she is very excited to have found a position close to home where she can help local people with their pets. Larissa enjoys all aspects of small animal work and is particularly interested in internal medicine cases and ultrasound scanning.  Currently she is studying towards a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in internal medicine.

Outside of work Larissa lives with her partner and two young children and a rescue cat called Raoule.  In her free time she enjoys being in nature and doing outdoor activities with her family such as hiking, cycling and jogging.  She is also an enthusiastic rower and enjoys participating in competitions across the UK.
